Miracle Worker

My hind thought was that God works miracles in private. Not on display for others to see until "it" happens. I have always believed that miracles and wonders begin in the heavenly realm and are so tightly secured there that it is only at a specific time when heaven and earth collide that there is a visible manifestation of God's grace and mercy. The miracle. I still trust and believe this hind thought.

However, my forward thoughts have begun to consume me lately. I still believe in the work of miracles that begin in heavenly places, but did you know that miracles, big and small, manifest before our eyes each day that we occupy the earth?

A huge manifestation of God's grace and mercy is at work in front of me right now. God is healing my beloved Aunt Patsy from a severe stroke. She has gone from bleeding on the brain to being cradled and sustained through a surgery that was hit-and-go for some time. She has movement on both sides. Is opening her eyes and focusing, and in true Pat Pat fashion, is irritated by being on the ventilator. She's ready to use her God-given breath to breathe. She's a fighter- a miracle. A wonder through and through.

We're witnessing God work in real-time, and there is nothing hidden about it. Mysterious, precious, striking, and awesome, but not hidden.

The miracle is in the belief that it will happen as we watch it unfold and await the most anticipated miracle yet...
